IWOMP 2010 6th International Workshop on OpenMP, June 14-16, 2010, Tsukuba, Japan

"Beyond Loop Level Parallelism in OpenMP: Accelerators, Tasking and More"

The International Workshop on OpenMP is an annual series of workshops dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects focusing on parallel programming with OpenMP. OpenMP is now a major programming model for shared memory systems from multi-core machines to large scale servers. Recently, new ideas and challenges are proposed to extend OpenMP framework for adopting accelerators and also exploiting parallelism beyond loop levels. The workshop serves as a forum to present the latest research ideas and results related to this shared memory programming model. It also offers the opportunity to interact with OpenMP users, developers and the people working on the next release of the standard. The 2010 International Workshop on OpenMP (IWOMP 2010) will be held in the high-tech city of Tsukuba, Japan.

Pact 2010, September 11-15, Vienna, Austria

PACT is a multi-disciplinary conference that brings together researchers from the hardware and software areas to present ground-breaking research related to parallel systems ranging across instruction-level parallelism, thread-level parallelism, multiprocessor parallelism and large scale systems. PACT solicits novel, unpublished papers on a broad range of topics that include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Parallel architectures and computational models
* Multicore, multithreaded, superscalar, VLIW and GPU architectures
* Scalability and system architecture for parallel systems
* Compilers and tools for parallel computer systems
* Compiler exploitation of data- and thread-level parallelism
* Generating parallel code for domain-specific languages
* Support for concurrency correctness in hardware and software
* Compiler/hardware support for managing memory hierarchies
* Hardware and software support for power/heat-aware parallel computing
* Parallel accelerators and reconfigurable computing
* Dynamic translation and optimization for parallel systems
* I/O issues in parallel computing and their relation to applications
* Parallel programming languages, algorithms and applications
* Middleware and run-time system support for parallel computing
* Reliability and fault tolerance for parallel systems
* Modeling and simulation of parallel systems and applications
* Parallel applications and experimental systems studies
* Case studies of parallel systems and applications
* Non-traditional parallel computing systems topics

SC10 November 13-19, 2010 in New Orleans, LA

SC10 is expanding the frontiers of HPC by creating a potent platform for demonstrating, debating and discovering innovative, cutting-edge advances in computation, networking, storage, and analysis through an exceptional technical program, an expanded exhibits area, an exciting education program and much more.

SC10 will provide a forum of the highest quality for scientists and engineers to present their latest research findings in one of the most rapidly changing technical fields. We invite you to submit your work to SC, the world’s foremost super- computing conference!

ParCo 2011 International Conference on Parallel Computing

Bids for Hosting ParCo2011 are Invited

The international Parallel Computing conference (ParCo) is the longest running conference series that covers all aspects of parallel and high-speed computing in Europe. Based on its Estimated Impact of Conference (EIC) value published in April 2009 ParCo was ranked 29th out of 421 conferences considered. This is particularly high for an independent conference not associated with any large scientific/engineering society. See http://www.cs-conference-ranking.org/conferencerankings/topicsiii.html. Weights used to determine the EIC are outlined on http://www.cs-conference-ranking.org/home.html.

The conference is run bi-annually; the next conference will be held in 2011.

Although ParCo has in the past always been offered in Europe, it is not limited to this geographic area. Applications from any interested parties in the world will be considered.
